They were born and raised in Rio de Janeiro City, the capital of bossa nova and samba, moved to the United States in 1993 where they continue to have a very busy performing schedule. They have become highly recognized in the Brazilian, Spanish and American communities and have won countless awards, Rose as the best Brazilian singer and Ramatis as the best Brazilian producer and musician.
